daring, ambitious, supercilious
so i got out for a little shopping strall today at midnight
really wanted to smoke
anyway
so i'm getting back
this car pulls up
and a guy speaks to me in romanian
guys always try to speak to you on a street, so it's fine
but the street is dark, and they're in a car
so i walk and ignore them
i turn to my right and expect to hear the car speeding up, but instead i see flickers of the turn lights on the bushes
i speed up, turn my head, and see that a guy is getting out of the car from the passenger's door
i walk a few more steps
and run
in the dark
then, when my ankles started hurting because i twisted them a couple of times, i give up and turn the flashlight on my phone on
it's a long dark road till my home
i'm glad it's also twisted so they had no way of telling where i am as soon as i turned off the light
and the only thought that i had is that i'm in my leather shoes and my heels are ridiculously loud
so i ran on my toes
and it STILL was too loud
plus i had a plastic bag
oh, and getting my keys out was a bitch
but i figured that they're heavy and better than nothing
that. was. not. a nice. experience.
